Pacific Pines State Park (Map)
Open 8 AM until dusk, April 1 through November 1, this park has a shore on the Pacific Ocean with fishing, crabbing, and clamming opportunities in season. It has a picnic area and a trail to the beach.
Willapa National Wildlife Refuge (Map)
Located at the Northern tip of Long Beach Peninsula, this area includes over 15,000 acres of tidelands, temperate rainforest, ocean beaches, and small streams. The refuge includes Long Island, the Pacific Coast's largest estuarine island, on which stands a rare 274-acre remnant of old growth lowland coastal forest.

Cape Disappointment State Park (Map)
Cape Disappointment State Park is a 1,882-acre camping park on the Long Beach Peninsula, fronted by the Pacific Ocean. The park offers two miles of ocean beach, including Waikiki Beach, the only swim-safe beach on the Peninsula. The park includes two lighthouses, an interpretive center and hiking trails.
Ledbetter Point State Park (Map)
This park features beach frontage on the Pacific Ocean and Willapa Bay and is part of the Willapa Bay Water Trail. Open for day use from 6:30 AM until dusk, visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing, clamming, and wildlife observation at the park
Fort Columbia State Park (Map)
Fort Columbia State Park is one 12 sites included in the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park. It is a 593 acre day-use historical park located at the Chinook Point National Historic Landmark and includes 6,400 feet of freshwater shoreline along the Columbia River. Within the park are original U.S. Army Coastal Artillery fort buildings and batteries. The park provides beautiful views of the Columbia River estuary, the hills of Astoria, and the famous 4.5-mile-long Astoria-Megler Bridge. The park has an interpretive center with information on the Chinook Native American culture and fort history, an observation station, historic buildings, picnic sites, and five miles of hiking trails through mature forest.
